After putting it off for so long, I finally watched The Tree Of Life. Visually, this film is beautiful, as were the performances, but I honestly have no idea what happened in this movie. I have always thought of myself as an intelligent and open minded film viewer but I just couldn’t follow it well enough. There was too much going on. But, I will say that this film is more proof the Brad Pitt is much more than a tabloid fixture and that Jessica Chastain is one of the movie versatile young actresses around.
